Greetings
I live in Clarke County Virginia and my neighbor has just spread “Bio_Solids” on the 300 acres adjacent to my eight
acres. The smell is odious and continuous after three weeks. The Field Monitor told me the Boys from Maryland
have a meter that says there is no smell. I told him I have a meter on the middle of my face that I have had for fifty two
years and it tells me there is a smell and if he wants to stop by he can tell me he does not smell that rotten socks smell.
My wife has been nauseated and now has diarrhea as does my dog. I have health issues (Hep C) and my
mothers 3 acres and well is less than 110 feet from where the “Stuff” was spread. We have been getting the
Bureaucratic shuffle from our County admins and I was hoping for any thoughts you might have on what can be done .
We are having our wells tested, there is a Sink hole in the affected field but I was told “Well it’s not on the County
Maps”. I guess if the mountain is not on the map it does not exist! I am thinking of getting a geologist to make a
determination on the Sink hole but that’s another issue.
An EPA Doctor has told us to stay inside and not use our well water . I am fit to be tied and am ready to hire a
lawyer and file some claims and injunctions. Any suggestions you might have would be appreciated.
